કૅન્સર, ગર્ભાવરણનું (choriocarcinoma) : ગર્ભનાં આવરણો-(chorion)ની પેશીનું કૅન્સર થવું તે. ગર્ભને પોષણ મળી રહે તે માટે ગર્ભપોષક પેશી(gestational trophoblast)નો વિકાસ થાય છે. આ પોષકપેશીના રોગોને ગર્ભપોષક પેશીય રોગ (gestational trophoblastic disease, GTD) કહે છે. તેમાં 4 વિકારોનો સમાવેશ થાય છે – (1) બહુકોષ્ઠાર્બુદ (hydatidiform mole), (2) ઓર-સ્થાની ગાંઠ (placental site…
